MEG SENIOR - THAT FRIENDLY NORTHERN HUMANIST CELEBRANT
Hi I’m Meg, I’m so happy you made it here! You must be organising a special ceremony, which is so exciting - Congratulations!
I am an accredited humanist celebrant and conduct warm, fun wedding and naming ceremonies. I’m based in Yorkshire and my ceremonies take place all over the country. Wherever you are, if you’re my people (which I think you might be) I’ll find you my lovelies.
My absolute number one joy in life, beside hanging out with my dog obviously, is creating personal and memorable wedding ceremonies. My couples want their wedding to be fun, relaxed and perhaps a little bit unconventional. If this sounds like you and your beloved, then read on about humanist weddings or go ahead and arrange a chemistry call with me via my contact page. If we click then this could be the start of something beautiful.
Welcoming your little one to the family
I adore speaking with Sheffield parents about how to plan the perfect naming day for their children. Humanist naming ceremonies are becoming more and more popular with families who want a modern, meaningful celebration to welcome their little ones to the world.
If your child is awesome (I bet they are right?) and you want to celebrate that, or you’re marking a milestone in their lives, like going to school, then together we could create a ceremony that the whole family will love.
Here’s what to expect from your ceremony. To set up a chemistry call with me please use my contact page. I can’t wait to hear all about your small person!
I’m a friendly Northerner, forever an optimist and I’m fascinated by people’s individual personalities and stories. I love that as a human race we can all be so different to one another, but incredibly similar and connected at the same time.
When planning a humanist wedding or naming ceremony I focus on making the preparation process as enjoyable as possible for my couples and families. This includes thinking about shared values and aspirations, reminiscing about fun and romantic details of your relationship, appreciating one another’s special parenting skills and laughing a lot. It’s a big old love in.
My professional background includes a decade working in the charity sector predominantly in events, which is fantastic training for becoming a celebrant. Your celebrant hosts some of the most significant days of your life after all, so you’ve got to really trust them to be on your team!
