I adore speaking with Sheffield parents about how to plan the perfect naming day for their children. Humanist naming ceremonies are becoming more and more popular with families who want a modern, meaningful celebration to welcome their little ones to the world.
If your child is awesome (I bet they are right?) and you want to celebrate that or you’re marking a milestone in their lives, like going to school, then together we could create a ceremony that the whole family will love.

ABOUT ME
I’m a friendly Northerner, forever an optimist and I’m fascinated by people’s individual personalities and stories.
When planning a humanist wedding or naming ceremony I focus on making the preparation process as enjoyable as possible for my couples and families. This includes thinking about shared values and aspirations, reminiscing about fun and romantic details of your relationship, appreciating one another’s special parenting skills and laughing a lot. It’s a big old love in.
My professional background includes a decade working in the charity sector predominantly in events, which is fantastic training for becoming a celebrant. Your celebrant hosts some of the most significant days of your life after all, so you’ve got to really trust them to be on your team!
